Set Signature Type Bot

Since digitalization offers more and more opportunities in almost all spheres of our lives, there are now several methods on how to set up an electronic signature:

  • Typing
  • Drawing
  • Uploading from your device

If a document in your Flow has specific requirements, you can choose the type of signature that must be inserted. The modified Bot conditions will only permit a single method of certification. For example, only typing or drawing mode may be enabled.

When you select the typing method, the person who signs the document must write his full name. The editor will automatically transform it to a handwritten font style. This signing method is convenient for people who prefer to use their names in cursive for certifying documents.

The drawing method means that a signer will need to create their unique signature using a mouse or a trackpad. By using this method, anyone can create an almost similar copy of their actual signature with descenders, flourishes, and other characteristics.

If all types above aren’t convenient, the easiest way is to upload a signature from a device. In this way, a person can create their signature on paper, then scan or take a photo of it, and then upload it from their device.

Each type of signature has advantages and disadvantages. Choose the most convenient methods for your customers. You can also agree with your partners on what signing method is suitable for all parties.
