Workflow automation, e-signature and document management solutions will empower research and higher education institutions to digitize and automate processes while meeting accessibility, privacy, security and other compliance needs

BOSTON, MA. (March 30, 2021)— airSlate, a leader in no-code business automation solutions, announced today that its workflow automation, e-signature and document management solutions are now available to research and higher education members of Internet2, a non-profit advanced technology community.

airSlate’s portfolio of products, including pdfFiller, signNow, and airSlate, will be available under a pre-service evaluation agreement with the Internet2 NET+ program, a standards-based service portfolio designed by higher education institutions that will ensure the universities signing up for airSlate have the most favorable commercial terms. Under this initial agreement, airSlate’s solutions will empower research and education institutions to immediately address a growing need to digitize and automate their document processes, while the longer-term NET+ general availability offering is being developed with Internet2 higher education members. Through the peer-driven NET+ validation process, institutions are able to address their security, identity management, and integration challenges.

“Higher education is one of airSlate’s most prolific industries and we know the tremendous value that Internet2 brings to its community,” said Scott Owen, Vice President, Business Development and Channel, airSlate. “We are excited to work with Internet2 and see what we can do together to help facilitate digital transformation for individuals in higher education and research.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many in-person teaching, learning, and administrative functions across higher education campuses moved to remote operations. Because of this, the research and education community has become increasingly reliant on solutions that help to facilitate their digital transformation and keep faculty, staff and students connected and communicating. airSlate will help to bridge that gap with its PDF editing, e-signature, and workflow automation solutions. Schools such as Claremont Graduate University, University of Michigan, and the NewSchool of Architecture & Design have all used airSlate’s products to accelerate their remote-first, digital transformation.

“airSlate’s capabilities are a welcome addition to supporting digital transformation in higher education and we’re pleased to include it in the Internet2 NET+ portfolio as a pre-evaluation service,” said Sean O’Brien, Internet2 NET+ Director. “Through NET+, campuses can evaluate the offering over the course of this coming year, share use cases, best practices in deployments and success strategies for broad adoption that help institutions improve how they operate and serve students, faculty and administrators.”

“airSlate has enabled us to quickly pivot to a remote teaching, learning, and working environment forced by the onset of the pandemic,” said Manoj Chitre, AVP of Technology Services and Information Systems, Office of IT, Claremont Graduate University. “With more than 2,100 remote learners, we needed a way to deal with the paperwork previously handled on campus. With airSlate’s solutions, we have been able to streamline manual paper processes, implement workflows to manage COVID-19 related campus visit procedures and health screenings, and set our students and administration up for success.”

The pre-service evaluation agreement is based on the standard NET+ terms and conditions and contains custom pricing for campuses. For more information about the NET+ program with airSlate, click here.
