when you send out an invitation for a forms Pro survey then what happens is it creates a survey invite record which is an activity and it puts it into CD s so the survey invite has a status survey invite status which you can see here and as soon as it's sent then it gets back to as the status then when the contact clicks on the link go ahead and fills out the survey and that comes back in it changes and sets that has responded so we know that the person's actually completed that now there's going to be occasion where you send out requests for surveys and you'd really like to get that feedback you might want to go ahead and send out a reminder if someone hasn't completed the survey after X number of days all right so how can we go ahead and do that let's look at Microsoft flow so we've got a flow that setup here quite straightforward what we're doing first of all is we're doing a trigger with a recurrence so I'm set I've set this to run every single day at nine o'clock so it's run at 9:00 o'clock every day the next thing we're going to do is we're going to add in an action and that action is going to be a date and time action and we're going to do get past time now when we do get past time what we can do is we can say all right well what's the time unit at the time unit can be months days weeks hours and so on so we want to look but X number of days in the past so for this I've used seven but that's just because that's my test data and I know that I have something that wasn't responded to that's seven days old so it could be that your wait time is three days five days depending on the level of importance of that survey response it could be about an event that you've just just had it could be something where you want to get feedback based on an accident it could be feedback based on something that's got a certain sense of urgency so set that interval based on on what's relevant to your organization then what we're going to do is we are going to do a list record step and what we're going to do is we are going to set a filter query and we're going to use MSF P invite status so that's this invite status that I've shown you we want to find those that equal the value of this and that value is basically sent in other words it's not actually being responded to and then what we also want to do is we need to put in a bit of a format on this date that comes back okay and we want to make sure that the created on date
