in this video i'm going to show you how you can send a progress report of google classroom assignments to your students so i've already gone ahead and logged into google classroom i'm going to click on the people tab and i want to remind rachel of the assignments that she has missing so i'm going to go ahead and click on rachel and that's going to bring up a list of rachel's assignments that she has assignments says she's turned in assignments that she's done assignments that are missing assignments that have been returned this is all of the work that rachel has done or needs to do in my class once i pulled up a student you'll see that i have an option to email the student or the guardian i'm going to go ahead and click on that and right here i'm going to check make sure i check that to include the student work summary and i'm going to type a message to the student telling them reminding them to check their progress in google classroom and to go to google classroom to complete these assignments once i've typed my message to the student and i have checked to include the student work summary i'm going to go ahead and click send now let's take a look at this from the student side now here we are in rachel's email account and you'll notice that she now has the progress report that i sent her from classroom is now available here if we go ahead and click on that she will see the message that i sent her and she will also see the all of the work that has been assigned in this particular class missing means she hasn't turned it in assigned means she hasn't looked at it yet if it says turned in or there's a check mark it means that i the teacher have gone ahead and looked at it and returned it to the student so this is a great way to remind students of the work that they need to complete these link unfortunately this report isn't clickable so students can't click here and be taken to the assignment they would have to go to google classroom and find this assignment on their own but this is a great option to give students a quick snapshot of their work in your class you
