The new patient template is a feature that automatically triggers a welcome message when a new patient is added to your account. This is your opportunity to warmly welcome your patients and start building a relationship with them. To access this feature, navigate to the templates section and scroll down to find the new patient template. Within the new patient template, you can customize the specific messaging that will be sent out to each new patient. You have the option to customize both an email and a text message. To edit the template, simply hover over the email or text message tile and begin editing. You can change any of the messaging in the template to match your brand and the voice of your practice. It is important to include a link for patients to fill out their new forms. You can do this by using the "form smart" command found on the right side and selecting "insert packet new patient". This will allow patients to easily complete their forms. After customizing the message, make sure to load the preview to see how it will appear from the patient's perspective. This will include the link for them to complete their forms. Click "save" to save your changes. In addition to the email, you can also customize the text message. Include the link to fill out forms and address any commonly asked questions such as parking or arrival time for their first appointment. Once you have made your customizations, toggle the template on in the upper left-hand corner. This will allow you to start sending and welcoming your patients right away.
