that allows employees to submit holiday requests with their first name, last name, start date, and end date. Once the form is created, we can move on to setting up the automation using Microsoft Power Automate. To integrate the form data with Microsoft Planner and Outlook calendar, we will need to create a flow in Power Automate. Go to Power Automate and click on "My flows" in the left sidebar. Then click on "Create" in the top right corner and select "Instant cloud flow". Give your flow a name, such as "Holiday Request Approval", and choose the trigger "When a new response is submitted" under "Microsoft Forms". Connect your Microsoft Forms account and choose the form you created earlier ("Holiday Request") from the drop-down menu. Next, we need to add actions to our flow. Click on the plus (+) icon below the trigger and search for "Planner". Select "Create a task" from the available actions. In the "Create a task" action, choose the Planner Plan you want the tasks to be created in, specify the task title (e.g., "Holiday Request - [First Name] [Last Name]"), and fill in any other necessary details for the task. You can use dynamic content from the form submission to populate the task title and other fields. After adding the Planner action, we can continue to add another action to integrate with Microsoft Outlook calendar. Click on the plus (+) icon below the Planner action and search for "Outlook". Select "Create an event" from the available actions. In the "Create an event" action, choose the calendar you want the event to be added to, specify the event title (e.g., "Holiday Request - [First Name] [Last Name]"), and fill in other necessary details for the event, such as start and end date/time. Again, you can use dynamic content from the form submission to populate the event title and other fields. Once you have configured the Planner and Outlook actions, click on "Save" to save the flow. Now, whenever a new response is submitted in the "Holiday Request" form, a task will be created in Microsoft Planner and an event will be added to your Outlook calendar. This allows you to track and manage holiday requests easily, and see all the information in one place. That's it! You have successfully created a Microsoft form, integrated it with Microsoft Planner and Outlook calendar using Power Automate. This workflow can be applied to various other scenarios, not just holiday requests, to automate and streamline processes within your business. I hope you found this tutorial helpful.
