of fields to capture the necessary information for a holiday request. Next, I'm going to add a multiple-choice question to capture the reason for the holiday. I'll call this question "Reason for Holiday" and provide options such as "Vacation", "Family Event", "Sick Leave", etc. Lastly, I'll add a file upload question to allow employees to attach any supporting documents or forms related to their holiday request. Once I'm done creating the form, I'll click on the "Share" button at the top right corner to generate a link to the form. I'll copy this link as we'll need it later. Now, let's move on to Microsoft Power Automate. In Power Automate, we're going to create a flow that will take the form responses and send them to Microsoft Planner. To create a new flow, click on "My Flows" on the left side panel and then click on "New" at the top right corner. Choose the "Automated cloud flow" option. In the search bar, type "Forms" and select the "When a new response is submitted (V2)" trigger. Connect your Microsoft Forms account by signing in with your Microsoft credentials. Next, select the "Create a task" action from the Planner actions. Connect your Microsoft Planner account by signing in with your Microsoft credentials. In the "Create a task" action, choose the Planner and the specific plan you want the tasks to be created in. Fill in the required details for the task, such as Title, Description, Due Date, etc. For the assignee, you can either select a specific person or use dynamic content from the form response to assign the task to the employee who submitted the holiday request. Once you have configured all the necessary details, save the flow and turn it on. Now, whenever a new response is submitted on the Microsoft Form, a task will be created in Microsoft Planner with the details provided in the form response. To integrate this flow with your Microsoft Outlook calendar, you will need to create a new event in your calendar using the details from the form response. One way to do this is by adding another step to the flow and using the Outlook connector to create a new event.
