How to Effortlessly automate Consultation Scheduling using Flow template

of fields in our holiday request form, capturing the first name, last name, start date, and end date. Now, let's move on to connecting this form to Microsoft Planner. To do this, we'll switch to the Power Automate tab. In Power Automate, click on "Create" to create a new flow. In the search bar, type "Forms" and select "When a new response is submitted (V2)." This is the trigger that will start the flow when a new response is submitted on our form. Next, select the form we just created in Microsoft Forms as the trigger's "Form ID" input. Click on "New Step" and search for "Planner." Select "Create a task" as the action. In the Create a task action, select the relevant Planner plan and specify the task's title. We can also add any additional details or due dates as needed. For example, we can add the requester's name and the holiday dates in the task's description. Click on "Save" and then "Done" to save and complete the flow. Now, every time a new response is submitted on our holiday request form, a task will be created in Microsoft Planner. To integrate this flow with Microsoft Outlook Calendar, we'll go to the Planner tab. In Planner, create a new bucket to organize the tasks. For example, we can create a bucket called "Holiday Requests." Next, go back to Power Automate and create a new flow. Search for "Planner" and select "When a task is created or modified." This trigger will start the flow when a task is created or modified in Planner. Select the relevant Planner plan and bucket, and any other filtering options as needed. Click on "New Step" and search for "Outlook." Select "Create event (V2)" as the action. In the Create event action, map the task's details to the event's details. For example, we can use the task's title as the event's subject, the task's due date as the event's start and end date, and the task's description as the event's body. Click on "Save" and then "Done" to save and complete the flow. Now, whenever a task is created or modified in the "Holiday Requests" bucket in Planner, an event will be created in your Microsoft Outlook Calendar. And that's it! We have successfully created a Microsoft Form to capture holiday requests, connected it to Microsoft Planner to create corresponding tasks, and integrated it with Microsoft Outlook Calendar to automatically schedule events based on those tasks. This is just one example of how you can use Microsoft Forms, Planner, and Outlook Calendar together to automate processes and improve productivity. You can explore other Flow templates and customize them according to your needs. I hope you found this tutorial helpful.
