of fields that we want to capture in our holiday request form. Now let's move on to creating the flow. Next, we're going to go to Microsoft Power Automate. You can find it by searching for "Power Automate" in the app bar or by clicking on the more options and expanding the list to find it. Open Power Automate in a new tab. Now, we need to create a new flow. Click on the "Create" button and select "Automated cloud flow" from the options. In the search bar, type "Microsoft Forms" and select the "Microsoft Forms - When a new response is submitted" trigger. This will be the trigger that starts the flow when a new response is submitted in our holiday request form. Next, we need to connect our Microsoft Forms account. If you haven't already done this, click on the "Sign in" button and follow the prompts to sign in. Once connected, select the form you created earlier in the "Form Id" dropdown. Now, we're going to add an action. In the search bar, type "Microsoft Planner" and select the "Microsoft Planner - Create a task" action. This action will create a task in Microsoft Planner for each holiday request. To connect your Microsoft Planner account, click on the "Sign in" button and follow the prompts to sign in. Once connected, you can customize the task that will be created. For example, you can set the title of the task to the holiday requester's name or add other relevant information from the form responses. Click on the "Save" button to save the flow. Now, whenever someone submits a response in your holiday request form, a task will be created in Microsoft Planner with the information from the form. To integrate this with your Microsoft Outlook calendar, you can create a flow that adds the task due date to your calendar. This can be done by using the Outlook connector in Power Automate to create a new event in your calendar with the due date of the task. That's it! You've successfully created a Microsoft Form, connected it to Microsoft Planner, and integrated it with your Microsoft Outlook calendar. This allows you to automate the process of capturing holiday requests, getting them approved, and keeping track of them in your calendar.
