in this video i'm going to show you how to create a simple power automate flow from a microsoft list i'll be using the it asset manager template that we used in a previous video as an example i'll leave a link to that video above if just in case you haven't seen it already today i want to show you how to create a quick and easy asset expiration alert that will notify you when that piece of hardware is ready to be replaced or retired hey everyone it's joe from fc tech a great place to find tech news reviews and tutorials if you're new here make sure you click the subscribe button and all the links we referenced in this video can be found in the video's description and with that said let's jump into it all right as you can see here this is the it asset manager template that we created in one of our previous videos one thing that i have added in addition to that is the end of life column as you can see right here a lot of companies like to adopt end of life for different systems and develop life cycles for different types of equipment more specifically laptops and desktops sometimes servers things like that um adding an end-of-life feel will give us sort of a trigger that we could use with flow to send out an email once once an end of life has been hit for for a particular device or asset and this is just a simple date column so to get started what we'll do i'll open up a new tab and we'll we will go to .com from here we'll we'll click on create and for the sake of this video i'm going to create a very simple scheduled flow that will run every morning at 8 am in this case i will name this i said exploration plural and i'm going to have this start today actually i haven't i'll have it start tomorrow at 5 00 at 8 00 am and i plan on having this run every day click create awesome now you can see the start to the flow it's set to run once again it's set to run every day you can edit this if you need to right now now we're going to add a new step and what we'll do is we're going to get items from sharepoint because our it asset management list is actually stored in sharepoint even though it's not a traditional sharepoint list as most of you are aware and we'll choose our list well first i'll shoot first we'll choose the site then we'll choose the list so this is in the it site and then we'll choose the it asset manager list from the site all right from here what we'll do is we'll create an html table and this will this will be used to aggregate all the data that
