of fields to capture the necessary information for the holiday request. You can add more fields as per your requirements. Next, we need to create a flow in Power Automate to connect the Microsoft Form with Microsoft Planner and Outlook Calendar. So let's head over to Power Automate. In Power Automate, click on "Create" and select "Automated flow". Give your flow a name, like "Holiday Request Approval". Then, under "Choose your flow's trigger", search for and select "Microsoft Forms". Choose the trigger "When a new response is submitted". Next, you need to sign in to your Microsoft Forms account and select the form "Holiday Request" that you created earlier. Now, we can start building the flow. Click on "New Step" and search for "Planner". Select the action "Create a task". You'll need to sign in to your Microsoft Planner account and select the plan and bucket where you want the holiday request to be created as a task. In the "Create a task" action, map the necessary fields from the Microsoft Form to the task fields in Microsoft Planner. For example, set the task's title to be "Holiday Request for [First Name] [Last Name]" and assign it to the appropriate person. You can also set other details like due date, description, and priority based on the information captured in the form. Next, let's integrate this flow with Microsoft Outlook Calendar. Click on "New Step" and search for "Outlook". Select the action "Create an event". Sign in to your Microsoft Outlook account and specify the details for the event, such as the title, start time, and end time. You can also add any necessary additional information from the Microsoft Form fields to the event description. Once you have completed mapping the necessary fields, click on "Save" to save the flow. Now, whenever someone submits a holiday request through the Microsoft Form, a task will be created in Microsoft Planner and an event will be added to your Outlook Calendar, displaying all the relevant information captured in the form. This integration allows you to easily manage and track holiday requests within your organization, making it convenient for everyone involved. That's it! You have successfully created a Microsoft Form and integrated it with Microsoft Planner and Outlook Calendar using Power Automate.
