Indicate whether you have a South African green bar coded ID document or smart card by clicking on the appropriate option (yes or no). 6. If you selected "yes," enter your ID number and surname, then click on "continue." 7. Complete the required fields. Please note that the surname, name, and ID or passport number will be pre-populated on the screen. 8. Fields marked with an asterisk are compulsory. 9. Provide information such as your country, cell phone number, email address, telephone number, fax number, physical address, province, postal address, and province. 10. Click on "Register." 11. The system will verify the fields. If there are any problems or missing information, an error message will be displayed in red, indicating what is required. 12. If you have completed all the required fields on the new customer form and selected "Register," you will receive a message stating that your new CIBC customer code has been sent to your cell phone and email address. 13. Click on "Continue" to proceed. 14. Enter a password and confirm it. Also, choose a security question and answer. 15. Double-check all the details to ensure they are correct. 16. Click on "Update." 17. A message will confirm that your customer details have been updated. 18. Click on "Continue." 19. You will be redirected to the eServices landing page. 20. Congratulations! You can now start transacting on the CIPC eServices system. Note: Make sure to keep your customer code and password secure for future use.
