So basically, this setup involves using Microsoft Forms to create a new starter information form that can be completed by either the HR department or the employee themselves. The form collects information such as the new employee's name, job title, personal email address, start date, date of birth, department, emergency contact information, and bank details for salary payments. Once the form is submitted, the data is sent to Microsoft Flow, where an approval process is triggered. In this example, the approval is sent to the HR manager or director of the business. The purpose of the approval is to authorize the creation of user accounts on various systems, such as Office 365. Without the approval, the process won't continue. Once the approval is given, the information from the form is used to create a user account and input the necessary data into a database. Additionally, a temporary password is generated using the company's information (such as the name and current year) and assigned to the user account. By automating this process with Microsoft Forms and Microsoft Flow, the setup aims to streamline and expedite the new user induction process by reducing manual tasks and ensuring that all relevant permissions and information are set up correctly for each new employee.
