How to Effortlessly automate Sales Invoice using Flow template

is that it already has the necessary formulas and formatting in place. So all I need to do is populate the data from my flow. Next, I have a SharePoint list where I have all the invoice data stored. This can be any source where you have your invoice data, such as an Excel table or a database. Now, let's take a look at the flow itself. I've created a basic flow with a manual trigger, meaning that I can run it whenever I want. You can also set up other triggers based on your specific requirements, such as a scheduled trigger or when a new item is added to the SharePoint list. The first step in the flow is to get the invoice data from the SharePoint list using the "Get items" action. I specify the list name and any filters if needed. This will retrieve all the invoice data from the list. Next, I use the "Apply to each" action to loop through each invoice item. Within this loop, I use the "Create HTML table" action to convert the invoice data into an HTML table format. This step is important because the template Excel file expects the data to be in HTML format. After creating the HTML table, I use the "Apply to each" action again to loop through each row in the table. Within this loop, I use the "Update a row" action to update the corresponding row in the template Excel file. I specify the Excel file path, the sheet name, and the row number where the data should be updated. To update each cell in the row, I use the "Update cell" action. I specify the cell address, which can be a combination of the column letter and the row number, and the value to be updated. This step is repeated for each column in the row. Once all the rows and cells have been updated, I save the Excel file using the "Save file" action. I specify the file path and the Excel file name. And that's it! The flow will run and populate the Excel template with the invoice data. You can then download or share the updated Excel file as needed. I hope this demonstration has shown you how to effortlessly automate the creation of sales invoices using a Flow template in Excel. By leveraging the power of Power Automate and Excel, you can save time and improve efficiency in your invoicing process.
